House Price REDUCED!
We got a call from our Realtor yesterday. Basically she told us we needed to do something different as our house was not
selling or even had a single offer! Even though it was already priced below what we bought it for two years ago it was getting
no showings or any interest at all. The market here has totally gone south. I have never heard of people losing money on buying
a house. All the house-buying shows you see on TLC show people making money! They should do a show on the TRUE side of house
buying- you never know what is going to happen! We decided to lower our price 10 grand. This
will put us into a new catagory amongst home buyers and hopefully generate some interest! Even though we are losing
money on this house, we are still glad we bought it. We learned a lot from buying and maintaining our first home. A LOT of
blood, sweat and tears have gone into turning our house into a home. We love our neighborhood and our neighbors.
We now know how much work owning a house is! And from here on out it is base housing or renting for us, until we will be somewhere
for an extended period of time.

Rainy Michigan Tuesday
Is raining out today, which is fine with me. A good day to hang out inside, make chocolate chip cookies
and watch a good movie. I promised Joey he could help me make the cookies in a little bit and Nexflix should have our next
movie in the mail. I just LOVE Netflix. Remember when you used to have to go to the store and physically rent them. What a
pain. Especially around here when the nearest Bockbuster is 30 min away and there is NO way I would take my 3 children into
a video rental store. That is just ASKING for trouble. Sophie would be tearing all the videos off the shelf and
Joey would be begging to rent anything that was a cartoon. Evangeline would just be staring at all the chaos, plotting
how she will eventually join in on the mayhem.
Chris finally finished his last exam for this
past semester yesterday. He did great in all his classes and his GPA is around a 3.85. Summer school starts next week so we
are enjoying this time of relative non-business. My quads are still thrashed from the Marathon.
Both Chris and I have to walk carefully down the stairs and kneeling down on the ground to play with the kids or change a
diaper is very painful. I am going to take a rolling-pin to my leg muscles later today- and by that I mean rol l
it over my leg muscles to help them recover faster- its basically a home made deep tissue massage.
